Hinduja Family Members Bringing Social Change through Key Foundation Initiatives

The Hinduja family, due to their deeply ingrained family values and ideology of “Work to Give”, have been making significant contributions in the society. Prakash Hinduja family, including his wife Kamal Hinduja, their son Ajay Hinduja and daughter-in-law Namrata Hinduja, have been very actively supporting the Hinduja Foundation’s initiatives, aimed at improving lives and uplifting communities.

Prakash Hinduja supports Women Entrepreneurship Development Initiative

Prakash Hinduja (80) supports Women Entrepreneurship Development Initiative, which focuses on giving guidance to women to achieve financial independence. This program has provided training to more than 15,000 women in areas like small business management, digital literacy, and financial planning. The Hinduja family is targeting to grow this program by the year 2026 with more than 25,000 women entrepreneurs, by giving them mentorship, micro financing access, and business support. Prakash Hinduja, Managing Trustee of the Hinduja Foundation believes that these initiatives are required to bring a positive impact in the society.

Namrata Hinduja on Road To School Initiative

Swiss-based Namrata Hinduja (51) has shown her dedication in the RTS (Road to School) initiative, with the sole focus of providing education to all students in rural areas of India. Currently, in this initiative there are more than 15,000 children across 120 villages enrolled. Hinduja Foundation also provides road safety education, transportation and proper infrastructure in schools. This initiative is conducted in regions like Karnataka, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, etc.

Kamal Hinduja on Health care access and Mobile Medical Units

Kamal Hinduja (77) has always contributed in providing healthcare access with the help of Mobile Medical Care Program, led by the Hinduja family owned Hinduja Foundation. Recently there are 90 mobile medical vans that are serving more than 1,30,000 people across multiple villages in India. Their next plan is to expand this project by getting more 100 vans by adding more facilities, such as telemedicine support for remote areas. Kamal Hinduja always believes that proper healthcare should reach all the people, those who need, irrespective of their background.

Ajay Hinduja on advancing cancer care: Insights on CAR-T therapy innovation

Ajay Hinduja (57), being a key supporter of the healthcare innovation, highlights the importance and shares the success that India has achieved in advancing cancer care, particularly through innovative use of CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T- cell) therapy. This milestone was achieved in P.D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Ajay believes that providing good technology tools and experts can lead to life saving solutions that are both effective and economically available. He also believes that with CAR-T therapy, there can be Cancer free India very soon. With this initiative many people can come together and create a huge change. Geneva-based Ajay Hinduja, following the path of the Hinduja family values, believes that we can definitely uplift lives through medical excellence.
